WEBVTT 1 00:00:02.600 --> 00:00:06.879 Brothers and sisters, would you please turn with me to God's word in the 2 00:00:06.879 --> 00:00:14.869 book of Hebrews, Hebrews Chapter One, versus one through four. For the 3 00:00:14.949 --> 00:00:20.710 rest of this month I'm going to be preaching a little series in which we 4 00:00:20.789 --> 00:00:31.100 will consider the Messiah and how the Old Testament anticipates him and how he brings 5 00:00:31.620 --> 00:00:35.060 the how Jesus, and as the Messiah, is the fulfillment of those things. 6 00:00:35.140 --> 00:00:39.530 And so today in particular, we consider Jesus as the last word, 7 00:00:39.969 --> 00:00:46.170 revelation of God. Let's hear God's word now, the word of Jesus from 8 00:00:46.250 --> 00:00:51.640 Hebrews Chapter One. Long ago, at many times and in many ways, 9 00:00:51.759 --> 00:00:56.079 God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he 10 00:00:56.200 --> 00:01:00.320 has spoken to us by his son, whom he appointed the air of all 11 00:01:00.479 --> 00:01:07.150 things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of 12 00:01:07.269 --> 00:01:14.150 the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds 13 00:01:14.189 --> 00:01:19.540 the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, 14 00:01:19.579 --> 00:01:23.340 he sat down at the right hand of the majesty on High, having become 15 00:01:23.379 --> 00:01:30.700 as much superior earier to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent 16 00:01:30.379 --> 00:01:42.890 than their's. Amen. May God bless his word to us. The book 17 00:01:42.890 --> 00:01:51.760 of Hebrews is largely about putting before the people of God our Lord, Jesus, 18 00:01:52.879 --> 00:01:56.200 as he is called in the book, a mediator of a new and 19 00:01:56.400 --> 00:02:01.030 better covenant, High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, a better hope, 20 00:02:01.150 --> 00:02:07.669 a better life. Jesus is our salvation. And in all of these things 21 00:02:08.229 --> 00:02:15.740 it is not saying that God's word that came before was bad or unrighteous or 22 00:02:16.020 --> 00:02:23.620 even lacking in its intended purpose at that time, but when compared to the 23 00:02:23.979 --> 00:02:30.210 son of God, it is less in a way, it is less full, 24 00:02:30.490 --> 00:02:35.129 it is less clear. Now this, of course, was according to 25 00:02:35.330 --> 00:02:39.889 God's intentions, God's perfect intentions. God spoke at The Times that he did 26 00:02:40.129 --> 00:02:45.039 and the ways that he did on purpose, and the scriptures talk about some 27 00:02:45.159 --> 00:02:49.759 of those reasons. To teach, to train, to prepare. Indeed, 28 00:02:49.800 --> 00:02:53.280 as we go back back into the Old Testament and we read it in light 29 00:02:53.400 --> 00:02:58.560 of the New Testament, we see even that more clearly. And likewise, 30 00:02:58.629 --> 00:03:01.509 as we read the new testaments and light of what has come before, we 31 00:03:01.590 --> 00:03:06.069 understand the work of Christ more clearly. Who He is as a priest, 32 00:03:06.590 --> 00:03:09.389 as a prophet, as a King. These are details that are filled out 33 00:03:09.550 --> 00:03:15.780 and colored and given shape by God's word and the Old Testament, and so 34 00:03:15.900 --> 00:03:22.300 the Bible fits together perfectly, old and new, perfectly in one line, 35 00:03:23.060 --> 00:03:28.370 though, with these distinctions, there's a lot of ways. We can talk 36 00:03:28.370 --> 00:03:34.050 about them. Here. The author of the Hebrews talks about the relationship in 37 00:03:34.210 --> 00:03:39.090 terms of before and after. Before God spoken this way and now he speaks 38 00:03:39.530 --> 00:03:46.479 in this way in these last days. In this way, Jesus is sort 39 00:03:46.520 --> 00:03:51.479 of like the last chapter of a book. Imagine, as you read any 40 00:03:51.639 --> 00:03:57.310 book, novel or something else, let's say a novel, you typically when 41 00:03:57.310 --> 00:04:01.349 you get to the last chapter, it influences how you understood things before. 42 00:04:01.909 --> 00:04:05.550 Take a mystery in particular. Right if you read your book and you come 43 00:04:05.590 --> 00:04:09.430 to the end and you find out who done it, then you go back 44 00:04:09.469 --> 00:04:12.659 and you go all of course and there was this clue and there was that 45 00:04:12.860 --> 00:04:17.100 clue and everything kind of pulls together, it tightens together. It would be 46 00:04:17.139 --> 00:04:23.620 a really strange way, a bad way, to read a mystery or any 47 00:04:23.740 --> 00:04:28.050 regular novel and sort of rip out the last few chapters and then think that 48 00:04:28.209 --> 00:04:31.810 you've understood the book it's not how it works. And God's revelation is like 49 00:04:32.009 --> 00:04:38.759 that. He has revealed things first chapter one, then chapter two and three, 50 00:04:38.920 --> 00:04:42.879 than four, and he reveals things all the way up until the perfect 51 00:04:42.920 --> 00:04:46.480 time and the last chapter, in the last days, when he reveals himself 52 00:04:47.480 --> 00:04:58.829 in his son. And this is so important because Jesus, as the revelation 53 00:04:59.069 --> 00:05:02.750 of God, as God himself, is the thing, is the one that 54 00:05:02.949 --> 00:05:09.860 we all really need, just as our desire and a mystery is to have 55 00:05:10.699 --> 00:05:14.939 everything wrapped up and fought, have the the question to the answer solved. 56 00:05:15.500 --> 00:05:20.889 Jesus is the answer to every question, to all mysteries, to all knowledge. 57 00:05:20.930 --> 00:05:26.449 He is the chief thing, he is the chief one. He has 58 00:05:26.529 --> 00:05:33.610 the beginning and the end. People say they want to know God, or 59 00:05:33.649 --> 00:05:39.199 at least they'll say they want meaning for their lives. They want something more 60 00:05:39.480 --> 00:05:44.480 than themselves, and that's because we all know we don't have everything in ourselves 61 00:05:44.560 --> 00:05:49.509 that we need. We have to go get food and put it into our 62 00:05:49.589 --> 00:05:55.310 bodies in order to survive, in order to sleep, we have to find 63 00:05:55.350 --> 00:06:00.389 a place that allows us to lay down flat and is at least a little 64 00:06:00.389 --> 00:06:04.339 bit comfortable and maybe ideally, as dark to we require these things, even 65 00:06:04.420 --> 00:06:10.939 really basic things that are outside of us. We're not self sufficient people that 66 00:06:11.139 --> 00:06:15.779 just can exist in and of ourselves. The only one that is like that, 67 00:06:15.939 --> 00:06:21.490 of course, is God, our Tryune God, self sufficient perfectly in 68 00:06:21.610 --> 00:06:30.449 himself from all time and into all eternity. But we need more. We 69 00:06:30.569 --> 00:06:34.079 are dependent creatures. Every day we spend a lot of time figuring out how 70 00:06:34.160 --> 00:06:40.480 we can get what we need, and whether that's food or clothes or a 71 00:06:40.560 --> 00:06:46.319 safe place to eat, or emotional needs, spiritual needs. We read, 72 00:06:46.639 --> 00:06:50.110 we talk, we connect, we create so that we can find meaning in 73 00:06:50.230 --> 00:06:57.069 our lives, so we can find purpose for being here and doing what we 74 00:06:57.189 --> 00:07:02.699 do. In some ways, we hunger for things like meaning and connection and 75 00:07:02.899 --> 00:07:11.220 purpose even more than food and sleep and clothes. We also hunger for things 76 00:07:11.339 --> 00:07:16.250 like fairness. We want our world to make sense. We want a fair 77 00:07:16.449 --> 00:07:21.490 standard for what counts is good, not just what this guy makes up or 78 00:07:21.569 --> 00:07:29.290 that person makes up, but truth. We want a fair judge to condemn 79 00:07:29.449 --> 00:07:33.680 what is evil. We also want a merciful judge to forgive us when we 80 00:07:33.800 --> 00:07:40.959 are evil. We long for things that are beautiful and lasting. We long 81 00:07:41.160 --> 00:07:46.110 for someone who can keep us safe, who can calm our fears. We 82 00:07:46.230 --> 00:07:48.189 want to know what to do with our lives, how to act, who 83 00:07:48.269 --> 00:07:55.110 to marry, where to live. We want inspiration and wisdom, satisfaction and 84 00:07:55.389 --> 00:07:59.899 pleasure and all these things, as I say, we know we can't get 85 00:07:59.939 --> 00:08:03.620 them from ourselves. We can't forgive ourselves until we know God has first forgiven 86 00:08:03.660 --> 00:08:09.220 us. We can't gain wisdom unless we know that it is actually true, 87 00:08:09.459 --> 00:08:15.689 that a source of truth with authority has revealed it. We can't create beautiful 88 00:08:15.730 --> 00:08:22.290 things unless God first fills the world with metals and dies and sunsets and songs 89 00:08:22.410 --> 00:08:28.639 of birds and so ultimately, we are hungry for all of these things, 90 00:08:28.720 --> 00:08:35.159 but what we're really hungry for is God, to know him, to be 91 00:08:35.320 --> 00:08:39.960 in communion with him, to operate and live in a world that he has 92 00:08:41.080 --> 00:08:46.590 made in which we aren't always fighting against the grain and which we live our 93 00:08:46.629 --> 00:08:54.230 lives according to things that are actually true and righteous and good. Well, 94 00:08:54.269 --> 00:09:01.899 the good news is that God reveals himself in the world. God shows himself 95 00:09:03.139 --> 00:09:07.100 to us. In fact, it's so strong is his speech, that it's 96 00:09:07.139 --> 00:09:13.210 imprinted on our very natures. We are creatures, the Scriptures say, that 97 00:09:13.250 --> 00:09:18.970 are made in the image of God. Imagine a stamp or a seal, 98 00:09:20.450 --> 00:09:22.690 you know, that's pressed in so some wax or some ink and then it's 99 00:09:24.320 --> 00:09:30.440 pressed again. There it is. The the the the image of that stamp, 100 00:09:30.720 --> 00:09:33.120 the the form of that seal is right there. You can see it, 101 00:09:35.200 --> 00:09:39.190 even though the seal might be a separated I not no longer totally connected. 102 00:09:39.870 --> 00:09:43.990 There there it is. And the point is is that in ourselves, 103 00:09:43.389 --> 00:09:46.750 as those who are made in the image and the likeness of God, we 104 00:09:46.909 --> 00:09:52.139 know something of God, not that we are God, but that he has 105 00:09:52.259 --> 00:09:58.379 imprinted himself on us. We know something about righteousness, we know something about 106 00:09:58.580 --> 00:10:01.659 what it means to serve, to love and all of these things. And 107 00:10:01.899 --> 00:10:07.529 then, on top of that, in his creation he has made his strength 108 00:10:07.610 --> 00:10:11.809 and his beauty and his character, is infinite wisdom, his power. He's 109 00:10:11.850 --> 00:10:18.610 made these things known, and known very well. The scriptures say that the 110 00:10:18.250 --> 00:10:26.840 skies or proclaiming, yelling out the revelation of God, the things that has 111 00:10:26.919 --> 00:10:31.559 been made, the world that has been made, speak to him and testify 112 00:10:31.799 --> 00:10:37.230 to him. And so we look in the world for wisdom, for meaning, 113 00:10:37.429 --> 00:10:41.909 for direction and hope. The bad news is is we all look in 114 00:10:41.950 --> 00:10:45.990 all the wrong places. We look at the world but then we pervert it, 115 00:10:46.230 --> 00:10:50.419 we twisted. We look at ourselves and, instead of seeing the imprint 116 00:10:50.580 --> 00:10:54.820 of the of God on us, the image of God on us, to 117 00:10:54.940 --> 00:10:58.179 whom then we ought to look up and worship, we say, indeed, 118 00:10:58.220 --> 00:11:03.940 I am God and I am an authority, and what I say goes. 119 00:11:05.049 --> 00:11:09.330 He say no, you're not God, you are not all knowing, all 120 00:11:09.450 --> 00:11:13.409 eternal, self sufficient. Yes, you see him, but then you see 121 00:11:13.450 --> 00:11:18.210 him and you twist him and we make him to be as if he were 122 00:11:18.600 --> 00:11:24.399 in our image. And then, even worse are sinful image and then human 123 00:11:24.480 --> 00:11:28.039 beings. We look around on the revelation of God in the world and we 124 00:11:28.559 --> 00:11:35.350 exchange, as Paul says, we exchange the glory of the immortal God for 125 00:11:35.629 --> 00:11:41.110 images of things that creep on the ground. What a terrible exchange, what 126 00:11:41.230 --> 00:11:48.379 a rotten deal, to exchange the glory of the immortal God for images of 127 00:11:48.500 --> 00:11:54.139 his creation. But this is, of course, what we do in our 128 00:11:54.259 --> 00:12:00.299 sin. We go and we chase after the things of this world as if 129 00:12:00.340 --> 00:12:05.690 they were disconnected from the God who made them. But as one of the 130 00:12:05.730 --> 00:12:09.809 PURITANS, Thomas Watson, says. He says the world is fading, it's 131 00:12:09.889 --> 00:12:16.720 not filling the world is out there and it's sort of it promises things to 132 00:12:16.840 --> 00:12:22.279 us, but it's only it can only satisfy in a very, very small 133 00:12:22.519 --> 00:12:30.750 way. Relationships fail, money's stolen, moth and rust, these things, 134 00:12:30.789 --> 00:12:33.950 Jesus says, they eat up our treasures. We look at a book like 135 00:12:35.110 --> 00:12:37.909 Ecclesiastes, what do we learn? That a lot of life under the sun 136 00:12:39.070 --> 00:12:43.190 is chasing after a wind, going around and around and around, doing the 137 00:12:43.269 --> 00:12:46.220 same thing again and again and again. We work and we work and we 138 00:12:46.299 --> 00:12:50.860 work, and then it doesn't produce the results that we need. And then, 139 00:12:50.940 --> 00:12:54.539 of course, you mix into all of that corruption and evil and it 140 00:12:54.659 --> 00:13:03.970 can get really depressing really fast. And so this is our situation as creatures 141 00:13:05.009 --> 00:13:07.769 who are made in the image of God and yet have sinned and fallen short 142 00:13:09.529 --> 00:13:15.279 of the glory of God, of creatures who have sinned and are now defiled 143 00:13:15.480 --> 00:13:22.879 and incapable of hearing those words, hearing that revelation. Rightly. So here's 144 00:13:22.919 --> 00:13:30.669 what God does, friends. God speaks, he reveals himself in a new 145 00:13:30.750 --> 00:13:37.350 word, in a word of grace. It begins right after the fall of 146 00:13:37.590 --> 00:13:41.379 man and sin, when God says to Adam and Eve that they would that 147 00:13:41.580 --> 00:13:48.139 Eve would bear a son and that son would come and he would crush the 148 00:13:48.259 --> 00:13:50.379 head of the serpent who tempted them, the one that we read about earlier, 149 00:13:50.460 --> 00:13:56.210 remember, and John, the murderer, the liar, the one that 150 00:13:56.330 --> 00:14:00.970 we and so many people now follow after in their sinful nature. There would 151 00:14:00.970 --> 00:14:09.289 be one who would come and crush that enemy, crush murder, lies, 152 00:14:09.570 --> 00:14:16.240 deceit and all the rest, and he would save us from our sins. 153 00:14:16.279 --> 00:14:20.080 And that initial promise, just those few words of blessing in the middle of 154 00:14:20.159 --> 00:14:26.470 a curse, begins to unfold throughout the scriptures, throughout the Old Testament, 155 00:14:28.509 --> 00:14:33.950 it begins to unfold more and more, and promises to Abraham and promises to 156 00:14:33.990 --> 00:14:39.100 the people of Israel and promises to David, promises which promise a kingdom that's 157 00:14:39.139 --> 00:14:48.139 everlasting, glory that's unfading, promises that promise a Messiah and anointed King, 158 00:14:50.340 --> 00:14:54.690 Anointed Priest and anointed profit who would come into the world and who would do 159 00:14:54.970 --> 00:15:01.730 this work, one who would speak so clearly that he would be able to 160 00:15:03.009 --> 00:15:09.679 lift dead people out of their tombs to make them live, who would speak 161 00:15:09.720 --> 00:15:18.840 not just clearly and truthfully, but graciously and with power. And so, 162 00:15:20.120 --> 00:15:24.230 in the Lord's Ministry. He says to Lazarus, get up, rise, 163 00:15:24.389 --> 00:15:28.029 come out of your tomb, and a dead man gets up and comes out 164 00:15:28.029 --> 00:15:35.230 of his tomb. The Lord Touches people and heals them of decade long illnesses. 165 00:15:35.139 --> 00:15:39.740 He takes people who are paralyzed, lame, and their hands and their 166 00:15:39.779 --> 00:15:43.779 feed and their limbs he makes them well. He takes people that are possessed 167 00:15:43.820 --> 00:15:48.700 by demons and he he calls, he speaks to them and they are free 168 00:15:50.250 --> 00:15:56.330 by his authority, free from darkness, free from the evil one. This 169 00:15:58.049 --> 00:16:00.409 is what everything was leading up to in the Old Testament. And now, 170 00:16:00.809 --> 00:16:06.000 in these last days, as the author says here in Hebrews, he has 171 00:16:06.080 --> 00:16:12.840 spoken to us by his son. So you have to ask yourself at this 172 00:16:12.960 --> 00:16:19.350 point, do you know Jesus? Do you know the one in whom the 173 00:16:19.470 --> 00:16:25.950 last chapter has been written, everything was pointing up to? Do you know 174 00:16:26.870 --> 00:16:30.590 God as he has revealed himself to you, not only in his power and 175 00:16:30.710 --> 00:16:36.340 his judgment, in his righteousness, but also in a promise that says, 176 00:16:36.860 --> 00:16:41.179 follow me, trust me, and I'll forgive your sins and lead you into 177 00:16:41.220 --> 00:16:48.370 heaven? Jesus is the one who fixes the problem of our sin, who 178 00:16:48.610 --> 00:16:56.889 adds and are not adds, who gives meaning to our lives, who creates 179 00:16:56.889 --> 00:17:02.279 by the word of his power, through whom was created all the world and 180 00:17:02.639 --> 00:17:07.079 the world to come? This Jesus is not just some man. He verse 181 00:17:07.200 --> 00:17:14.000 three, is the radiance of the glory of God, the exact imprint of 182 00:17:14.119 --> 00:17:18.309 his nature. He is God, he upholds the universe by the word of 183 00:17:18.430 --> 00:17:25.950 his power. And not only is he this God who has been from everlasting, 184 00:17:26.230 --> 00:17:32.099 but he is also the one who made purification for sins. Do you 185 00:17:32.180 --> 00:17:37.980 know how he made purification for sins? He did it by becoming a man, 186 00:17:40.460 --> 00:17:45.289 by being born of a woman, just as was promised, by coming 187 00:17:45.369 --> 00:17:52.089 into this world, by being murdered on a cross and through that blood that 188 00:17:52.210 --> 00:17:57.839 he shed, atoning for our sins, so that we, in hearing the 189 00:17:59.039 --> 00:18:02.359 word of the Son and hearing the promise of the forgiveness of our sins, 190 00:18:02.799 --> 00:18:08.920 can now have all that we need in God, all that we need in 191 00:18:10.400 --> 00:18:12.950 fellowship with him. And so again I ask, do you know him? 192 00:18:14.910 --> 00:18:21.950 You have to know him. It's so important. There is nothing good that 193 00:18:22.150 --> 00:18:26.259 comes to us apart from him. Now you know him. We all know 194 00:18:26.420 --> 00:18:30.740 him, just by looking around at this world, at the amazing world that 195 00:18:30.859 --> 00:18:34.099 he has made. But I'm asking something a little more. I'm asking do 196 00:18:34.140 --> 00:18:40.259 you know him in his gracious promise, in his coming and in his cross? 197 00:18:41.450 --> 00:18:44.769 Do you know him in the forgiveness of your sins? Do you know 198 00:18:45.009 --> 00:18:53.529 him for the hope of eternal life? And if you know him, praise 199 00:18:53.609 --> 00:18:59.240 God. If you know him, know that, as he says, he 200 00:18:59.519 --> 00:19:02.920 is the rock on which we can build our lives, a rock and which 201 00:19:02.960 --> 00:19:11.829 we can weather every storm. And if you know him, you might ask 202 00:19:11.869 --> 00:19:15.789 yourself, how well do I know him? Do you know him superficially and 203 00:19:17.190 --> 00:19:21.150 in a bear and thin way, or do you know him richly and deeply? 204 00:19:22.470 --> 00:19:26.180 How might you think about that? I think this might be helpful. 205 00:19:26.819 --> 00:19:32.940 Think about how you know anyone else, a friend, a spouse. If 206 00:19:33.019 --> 00:19:36.859 somebody asks you what's their favorite food? What color are their eyes? What 207 00:19:36.980 --> 00:19:40.089 are they like to do on a Saturday, would you be able to answer 208 00:19:40.130 --> 00:19:44.970 those questions? If you do, if you can, then maybe you know 209 00:19:45.130 --> 00:19:48.210 something about them. Maybe you know them. What about their hopes, their 210 00:19:48.250 --> 00:19:52.250 dreams, their desires? What makes them tick? Where did they come from? 211 00:19:52.369 --> 00:19:55.519 What do they love? If you can answer those questions, as you 212 00:19:55.680 --> 00:20:00.319 probably know, a lot more. Can you anticipate what they might say? 213 00:20:00.359 --> 00:20:04.240 Can you anticipate can you finish their sentences? Well, you probably are starting 214 00:20:04.279 --> 00:20:10.630 to know them pretty well at this point. What about Jesus? Do you 215 00:20:10.710 --> 00:20:15.990 know what he's said? Have you read his words? Can you anticipate what 216 00:20:17.109 --> 00:20:19.789 he might want? Do you know the things that he loved? Do you 217 00:20:19.869 --> 00:20:23.299 know what he desires? Do you know what he hates? Do you know 218 00:20:23.380 --> 00:20:27.420 what he's doing right now? Do you know where he is? Do you 219 00:20:27.500 --> 00:20:32.299 know when he's going to appear? Do you know what will happen when he's 220 00:20:32.339 --> 00:20:37.690 going to appear? How do you relate to all of that? Do you 221 00:20:37.769 --> 00:20:42.930 know him? Do you follow him? Do you love him? I want 222 00:20:42.930 --> 00:20:48.930 to know Jesus better, and I hope you do too. The wonderful thing 223 00:20:48.970 --> 00:20:55.920 about Jesus is he's infinite. Right there's no sort of point at what you 224 00:20:56.000 --> 00:20:59.720 say. I really know enough. There's no point in what you say. 225 00:20:59.720 --> 00:21:03.160 I really have enough meaning in my life right now. There's no points it. 226 00:21:03.200 --> 00:21:07.150 Would you say, I really don't think I'm going to need anything else 227 00:21:07.190 --> 00:21:14.630 ever. Again, know we are always needy, dependent, humble creatures. 228 00:21:14.829 --> 00:21:18.660 God made us this way, and that's not a bad thing, because he 229 00:21:18.859 --> 00:21:23.059 made us to be in Commune Union with him, locked into him through his 230 00:21:23.339 --> 00:21:27.660 son, whom he is now revealed, so that you can get to know. 231 00:21:30.859 --> 00:21:34.369 I want you to know Jesus better too. I want you to hear 232 00:21:34.569 --> 00:21:38.970 his words, to know the Old Testament, to know the New Testament, 233 00:21:40.329 --> 00:21:45.410 to hear the word of God as it is fulfilled and consummated in Christ and 234 00:21:45.609 --> 00:21:51.039 to follow him and to love him, because the scriptures tell us that when 235 00:21:51.079 --> 00:21:56.680 we do that, we have everlasting life. We have it to the fullness, 236 00:21:56.759 --> 00:22:00.279 we have it an abundance, we have everything we could ever need. 237 00:22:03.670 --> 00:22:06.789 And so this is my encouragement to you, as the word speaks to us 238 00:22:06.829 --> 00:22:11.750 in these ways and tells us the here in Hebrews. But this thing has 239 00:22:11.750 --> 00:22:17.700 happened. God has spoken and he is spoken in these ways. Let us 240 00:22:17.740 --> 00:22:23.099 be quick to hear him and when we find ourselves not so quick and a 241 00:22:23.140 --> 00:22:27.740 little doll in hearing and struggling to love and to follow and have faith and 242 00:22:27.779 --> 00:22:33.730 do all these things we want to do, go again to Jesus, because 243 00:22:33.769 --> 00:22:38.609 he promises to forgive you, to help you, to grow you and bring 244 00:22:38.809 --> 00:22:45.119 you into his everlasting arms forever. Let's pray
